Despite what someone said above, a basketball court is 16 feet longer and 14 feet wider than a tennis court, at college or pro level, anyway. There have been frequent comments on Yahoo about Ana's sweating. Some people just sweat more easily than others. I used to play against a man who perspired so much that puddles formed around him from water dripping off his clothes when he stood still.

Tennis is one of the most physically demanding sports. You have to be an all around athelete to compete at elite levels. The stoping and starting, the sprinting, the upper body workout during your strokes, the explosion of your serve, and the overall conditioning during a long point. If a player is not completely tired after a match, then he/she didn't play hard enough!

Tennis is a hard sport. Just because it looks easy does not mean it is easy. Same goes with golf. I took tennis lessons during my junior high years and I was not good at all. I would usually hit my backhands out of the courts like a baseball. Seriously.

you should try playing it! you run more than it track and need mental toughness as well as speed! it's a pretty complicated game, not as easy as it looks! oh ans she is Ana Ivanovic, she's really good and if you want to have a chance against anyone in the pros you better believe they're gonna sweat!

Apparently you've never played a real game of tennis.
That will knock you out man. All that running and stopping on a dime just to run back again. Not to mention trying to put all your power into each swing.
It's a real workout.

Bear in mind that how much you sweat can depend on where you're playing. If it's really hot and humid out you're going to sweat more than if it it's cool and dry.

Haha, I usually sweat like those girls!
If you say tennis is easy and it's not tiring, then you're dead wrong.
