Yes I would. Always remember when a chick I knew found a guys wallet...took all the money out of it ($650) and then chucked it in the bin...didn't even hand it in to the cops(for his cards and licence and stuff). A week later the engine in her car blew up, she lost one of her part-time jobs and then couldn't aford her rent. LESSON....KARMA.....that always comes to get ya !!!!!

Yeah I would turn it in, but I'd tell whoever I turned it into that I expected some kind of reward! =]
Once my friends and I found a sidekick (not exacttly 65,000 dollars but...lol) and we turned it in! We also called the guy and told him we should get a reward! But it's the right thing to do rather than more or less steal it. Chances are the people who lost it are going appreciate it much more than you!

If I knew the origin of the money....found some in a wallet with id....my conscience (Christian as well) would not allow me to keep it...

On the other hand....if I find a bag of money (in the woods or along the highway)...with no identification....all bets are off....I will be out of debt before the week is out.

there's a very good possibility the serial #'s were recorded so spending it wouldn't have been wise. As far as turning in immediately? Well I may have waited until I found out there was some sort of reward.

Maybe. If my family was in need I might keep it even though I knew it was wrong and I'd feel bad about it for a long time. If my family (or me) was pretty good in the money areas then I'd return it immediately too. So the word "if" is very important.

I would like to think that I would. But, there would be a lot of fondling and touching going on beforehand. It's better to do those things right away- because too much thinking is not a good thing is this kind of situation.

I'd have to turn it in, but I might regret it for a while!

I even give the bank back the extra $ when the teller goofs up! It is the only time my high integrity pisses me off - lol -
