How do I tell how big my hard drive is?

In start, accessories, drive space, it says it is 2G with 0G used, although a few years back when this process actually worked, the disk was almost totally filled.

In, my computer, C, properties, it tells me I have a 6 gig drive with 3.7 used and 2.5 available.

I know I have one drive and I thought it was a 2 gig drive.

I think I need to download a firewall and I don't know how much space I have to work with.
