Anyone who offers you more than you're asking is either off their trolley or pulling a fast one. Have had several like this myself, and they go something like this:
- nice email, offers more money than you are asking by a looong way (playing on human greed to overcome caution)
- you send them a paypal request for money (optional step!)
- you receive a legit looking email (or a poor one if they're not very professional) telling you that you have received a paypal payment
- you send item to address given

They're banking on the fact that a small portion of people will accept a legit looking email at face value without actually logging into Paypal to ensure the money is in there. Even if a payment has been made (v rare), you may well find a chargeback coming from the credit card company a few days/weeks later when you've already sent the item.

Steer clear, make any electrical goods 'Immediate paypal payment only' to prevent fraudsters using Buy It Now and wasting your good listing fee. This option will mean that someone actually has to pay via paypal before Ebay ends the listing (a must for mobiles, laptops, etc)

All the best

I sell on EBay quite a bit, and will never sell to anyone out of the United States. It's just too complicated with shipping. This sounds like a definite scam to me, and hope you don't get taken in by it. There are so many people out there looking for phones, and that's what I usually have great luck selling. Good Luck to you....

Scammer !
Report them to e bay !
Don't risk it and send it with full insurance when you do post it or just sell it as cash on collection !
Be very wary when selling mobile phones !

I have never sold anything on eBay myself but this sounds so dodgy. Forget about it.
