Which hair color is more attractive in general? Blonde or brown?

This question is mainly for men, but I will accept any answers from women.

Brown for dating, blond for fling.

I think the answer has to do more with hair style. If you have it cut just right, then the color doesn't matter that much. I think blonde is considered prettier, but brunettes with the right cut are just as pretty.

I live in South Dakota, and there are tons of blondes in the Midwest (Iowa, etc...) where the Scandanavians settled to farm. In some towns, 80% of the people are blonde. The east coast has more brown haired people -- Italians and Greeks.

I think it depends on the face and features but I think brown as its more mysterious...
Blonde can sometimes make the face look washed out... Not being mean here... Alot of blonde hair looks gorgeous =]

I think a solid color of brown like chestnut (natural) is very attractive, but natural shades of blonde hair do seem to be more eye-catching.

In general, blonde. For me, a beautiful blonde is better than a beautiful brunnette. Theres just something about the golden, light color that attracts attention.
