Because cons all want to spin things like uhgrant100 is. Bush
was given the ok by congress to attack. Clinton was not. The anti war sentiment is based on Bushs policies, game plan (or lack of one) and foremost, on the fact that he ignored his advisors with expertise, and manufactured his justification for war.

Why is this "stereotypical conservative hypocrisy" if the Democrats are doing the exact same thing? By that same thinking, then Clinton was a blood thirsty warmonger then.
The Democrats did want an attack, and Republicans didn't. Now Republicans want an attack, and Democrats don't. Looks like that hypocrisy goes both ways. Could it be that there is really no real difference between a Republican or Democrat? Different sides of the same coin.
H E G......................................
How am I spinning facts like a conservative when I said both parties are hypocritical? My point is that this all hyprocrisy from both sides, it runs both ways, its not just a "conservative" hyprocrisy.

The "popular" President , his engagements vs. "Bushes War."
Interesting. Clinton bombed civilians including hundreds of children in late night raids in search of Saddam. We lost over 4,ooo soldier's in less that four years in this Desert Fox Operation among others. We were in a war but undeclared. SO Bush declares a ground war with the Senate and House support. WMD's are a roadside bomb to me? Anyway we take out Saddam. So we get an election and the new gov't is slack. But Bush fights for better armor and equipment to protect our brave soldier's. Despite political wrangling, flip flops and personal agenda's.
I really think that propaganda has prevailed here. Continued hypocracy of the Clinton campaigns. Despise the military, draft dodge yourself, first felon pardoned (Carter Jan 21, 1997) to become President. Use the military at your own measure. Bush is more open, explains failures, fired a General and beyond. I just do not see why Bush is a liar here. First President to be dissbarred for Impeding Criminal Justice and pergury. No the not sex act. His actions of denial after the fact.
No, you can not have it both ways. A political campaign can bring out the best and usually worst in people. Divide and conquer to achieve the dream? Core Communist foundations. Politics as usual and experience in how to produce it. Thanks.

There was some very strange happenings at that time, I've been around for a while, and I started reading politics when I was so small I had to lay the newspapers on the floor because my arms weren't long enough to hold it open.
I never saw anyone treated like Clinton.
Never.
Not through things that really threatened our national identity and our pride in doing whats right.
It was like the Republican party had turned into a party of destruction and damn the cost.
History takes time to be seen, we are still too close to that era to make sense of it, but one day we will figure out how and why that witchhunt took place, and why it persists today.

Being substantially more morally and ethically crippled than liberals, conservatives have,do and will always USE AND ABUSE both GOD ,CHRISTIANITY and PATRIOTISM to spin their filth such as Iraq having WMDs and Iraq was responsible for 9/11 and Bush telling us that in his talk with God,God okayed his illegal war in Iraq.
You will notice that these bankrupt conservatives always use highly EMOTIVE/SUBJECTIVE elements to spew their bastardized justifying/rationalizing garbage
In respect to these vile conservatives use/abuse and bastardization of PATRIOTISM,it is always best to remember a quotation of the famous Samuel Johnson who said :
"THE LAST REFUGE OF A SCOUNDREL IS PATRIOTISM"
and Bush et al are the prime examples of filthy, vile, war mongering monumentally hypocritical conservatives.
It is about time LIBERALS went on the offensive and confront these manipulative SOBs for the friggin SCOUNDRELS that they are .
PS.The very nature of your question and the fact that you seem to hesitate and think that there maybe some truth to this conservations patriotism BS, puts LIBERALS ON THE DEFENSIVE and allows the friggin conservatives/Republicans to control the AGENDA.
Conservatives are fundamentally elitist with little respect for democracy.Hitler's Joseph Goebbels is infamous for many things but in particular for his statement : "REPEAT A LIE OFTEN ENOUGH AND PEOPLE WILL BELIEVE IT " .
This is what conservatives do and do well ,Again remember
the war mongering conservative Bush repeated his filthy stinking lie that Iraq was reponsible for 9/11 that at one point an un-believable 71 % of Americans believed his filthy lies.

Please don't get me started on Bush and Iraq. I can't say enough against Bush. I am neither Rep nor Dem but I have been call a liberal B for posting my views in my 360 blog about the incompetence in the White House with the Bush administration. The Conservative Bush supporters need to get their head out of their own **** and look at the way things really are. The death and dying of our troops because of war mongers like Bush who think they are gods and ignore the pleas of the people who mistakenly put him in power. Okay, I'll shut up before I really get wound up.

Because all clinton was doing was dropping bombs on people including civilians with no purpose other than to posture...The current war started and the purpose in the end is to allow all Iraqs people the opportunity to live without fear of expressing their opinions...Just look at alll those people who voted in the Iraq elections ...THeir voter turnout percentage was higher than ours...Why because they want freedom and we just take ours for granted...
