Imposed Martial Law and rationing on the United States
Dropped nuclear weapons
Attacked North Korea and withdrew
Attacked North Vietnam
Escalated the Vietnam War during Johnson's administration.
Screwed up the economy during Carters Administration
Stripped the US defenses bear to balance the budget and opened the World to attack.
Is currently engaging in a propaganda effort to hide their past indiscretions and once again con people into believing that they really need dictatorial leaders.

Why do Liberal Democrats hate the United States?

President Nixon, The President whom Congress opposed when he attempted to pull troops out of Vietnam and who finally brokered a deal to remove troops from Vietnam with Congress?

President Nixon, the President who was allegedly involved in a wiretap scheme run by one FBI agent and then narced on by another FBI agent and friend of the rabid anti-communist J. Edgar Hoover, head of the FBI?

Nixon, who was vice-president under Eisenhower and lost the Presidential Election to Kennedy, the Liberal Democrat who first allowed US troops into ground combat in Vietnam and nearly got us into Nuclear war with the USSR over the Bay of Pigs and the Cuban Missile Crisis?

Is that the Nixon who "owns" Vietnam?

Do Liberal Democrats read history or just make it up?

Roosevelt and Kennedy were Conservatives? Truman was a conservative? Clinton was a conservative? Andrew Johnson was a Conservative? All of these politicians who gleefully adopted the title of "Liberal" were really "Conservative"?

Now that is funny!

Anyone notice that "Conservative" Richard Nixon pulled us out of 'Nam, cut the major trade deal with "Red China" and appeared on Laugh-in, a controversial comedy show (like SNL for those of you too young to remember, but, "sexier" with painted bikini clad dancers).

Yeah, that sounds like a Conservative to me. Clinton was more conservative than Nixon.

I disagree that Republicans have done anything as "criminal" as the Political Support of Slavery, Vetoing and Opposing Civil Rights Acts, forming the HUAC OR Dropping Atomic weapons.

Find me evidence that the Republican Party did any of these things and I might agree anyone who claims the political parties are similar has a point.

Just One PARTY Political Activity similar to these. Just ONE.

Do you really believe liberal democrats hate the United States of America and our soldiers? Many soilders may be liberal democrats. On fact about the mission in Iraq is Our soilders are performing an act of charity by doing their best to bestore the gifts of Democratic Freedom to the Iraqi people. That's altruistic and altruism is a liberal trait. Sadam Hussien is dead and he won't cause any more problems.

Because like Hitler, the lib mindset has infiltrated the school system & between programming & professors, this generation does not have a chance. They are pushing for an end of the U.S. & want to embrace globalism, which they have been programmed to believe will be utopia.

The stage is being set for one man to step into global leadership & rule the world..........gee, what does that remind you of?
It's amazing that he needs the help of the intellectual giants that conduct barf outs on the steps of city hall. This movement has created some real frankensteins that are more detrimental than helpful.

The good thing is that it is waking up some of the complacent & lackadaisical conservatives that have been asleep & comatose for far too long.

While I am a Republican, I am quite unhappy with the party and where it's going. The party lines seem to be merging with the Dems. There is not one possible presidential candidate that seems to say anything that instills confidence in me at this point. I may actually become an Independent soon.

Both Dems and Repubs have been screwing the pooch equally.
The greed and misdeeds on both sides is well documented, and denied by their respective constituents to the point of making up outright lies to defend their parties.

Your post has true facts. On the other hand, there are as many facts that cast Republican governments in an equally poor light.

I for one am over it.

These two parties have crushed the vision of governing at the will of the people. That would be all of us taxpayers. We pay their salary, they allow division of our people, and they ignore us.

The only people that can fix this political bickering is ourselves.

Why do you go to ancient history when there is nothing we can do nothing about it today. I could bring up all the corruption of the GOP over the years. But I won't because it would be childish. So let's talk about today. Let's talk about how cons couldn't care less about kids or old people. Let's talk about how cons only want war and they seem to only want big corporations and rich people to gain while everyone else loses. Let's talk about how we have the largest deficit in history. Let's talk about the issues of today and how the Republicans have no plan but are quick to whine about the Democratic party plans.

Let's talk about the loan crisis (one didn't exist under Carter). Let's talk about record gasoline prices. Let's talk about how the US doesn't rule the world and in UN police actions how we do what was required not just what some jingoists want. Let's talk about attacking countries who are no threat to us instead of those who attack us.

No the liberals and Democrats don't hate the United States. But other countries do because of the US foreign policy over the last 6 years. That "cowboy" lack of diplomacy has done nothing toward world peace but has caused an increase in the use of terrorism.

These attacks will not undo what the current administration has done. There are arguments for both sides and rebuttals for all your claims. To say that half the citizens of the U.S. hate their country is extremely offensive and serves no purpose.

The fact is that all those democrats left the democratic party because the democratic party's leadership sought to end all of those things, and therefore they all went to the Republican party where they set in office now.

If you were honest, which you obviously are not, you'd ask the true question which is why do conservative Republicans hate America.

The only problem with your "facts" is that back then the Democrats were conservative. The parties switched in the early 60's, but I wouldn't expect an uneducated conservative to know that anyway.

Good question. There seems to be an extreme form of Liberalism going on these days. Liberals are siding with the terrorists, calling American soldiers Nazis (John Murtha), encouraging illegal immigration, and diminishing family values and Christianity. They are the ones that have no problems when terrorists sponsors such as Ahmadinejad or drug lords such as Chavez come to the USA to speak and spread hatred, yet don't want to let the Marines set foot in San Francisco to shoot a commercial. And they love hypocrites such as Al Gore flying around in his private jet polluting as much as 100s of SUVs, or Edwards who gave us the gift of higher health insurance costs through his malpractice suits, or that national embarrassment, Pelosi who is busy racking up the personal perks on taxpayer expense. When she went to Syria to fraternize with the enemy she showed us that she's a traitor. And they also voted for the "War in Iraq" which they so conveniently choose to forget.

Anything for power, I guess.

The Republicans certainly have their faults as they suck up to large corporations, do nothing about the trade imbalance, and sell America off to which ever corporation bids for it. We get "Made in China" junk while our jobs go overseas and family businesses and the middle class slowly gets obsoleted.

Democrats don't hate America - they just don't like people who tell them that their right of free speech does not include speaking out against wars or inappropriate actions by whatever government is in power.
