Ragdoll cats are terrific pets to have:
"The Ragdoll is a breed of medium longhaired cat. It is best known for its docile and placid temperament and affectionate nature. They are non-aggressive to the point that many cats cannot or should not be let outside for prolonged periods as many will not defend themselves and most do not hunt. The name 'Ragdoll' derived from the fact that many of these cats go completely limp and relax when picked up. Ragdolls have a sturdy body, short legs, and a thick coat with Siamese-style points."
By the way, my last cat (she lived to be 17) was a long-haired mixed breed with gorgeous tortoiseshell markings...she was my favorite all-time cat! She had freckles, too, especially on her face. Cats can have freckles.

So hard to answer. They're all so adorable and there's no such thing as a bad cat.
Right now I have a tuxedo long-hair (not really a breed - just a description).
I like Burma cats they look really nice and don't have that royalty attitude other pure-breeds have. Maine Coons have a really good temper.
My avatar is a cougar cub, by the way.

I like Siamese cats. They are by far the most engaging and colloquial. I had a Siamese cat for close to thirteen years before she passed away. At times, it was almost like having a conversation with a person. She responded to questions, often like she really understood them. They are also relatively light shedding cats. They are great companions and quite good with guests and children.

Siamese---intelligent, independant, brave and good-looking.
Also good mouse-catchers...
in general, cats that have had a rough life early on are friendlier and more grateful for attention...the best cat I ever had was a stray kitty who had a hole in his head and part of an ear chewed and just was pathetic, filthy---I fed him and took him to the neighborhood where I was working hoping that he'd find a home, but he refused to leave my truck. I took him home and my wife started brushing and feeding and spoiling him---we named him "Ugly" and he ended up being a very handsome fellow and was the smartest cat I have ever seen. He knew a way to get into the house that we never did figure out...and he was very grateful for the life we gave him----and very good with dogs, too.

I like syameese cats. They look cool. I like all cat's eyes (guess why). Got to own male cats. Male cats have more personality and are that much more enjoyable from my experience.

The best cat is the basic tabby ... that's what cats are meant to look like.
