Sometimes I want to pack a bag or two and move up to the moutains and never come back.Our technolgy is getting out of control.I can't even Imagine what it will be like in 5 or 10 years.I hope I am living in a log cabin away from it all by then.

Up until just a few months ago I survived without a cell phone just fine. The computer and tv are a different matter all together. I consider them important links to the world, and to my friends. Yes technology can and probably will get out of control, but that doesn't mean you have to rush out and buy into every gadget and device they invent. It's a small way of controlling your little corner of the universe.

Take the computer and TV. But I want my phone. You try 24*7 in a house with kids who do not speak fluent English, and tell me when nap time comes around you dont want some adult conversations. Be it I love my kids, but Mommy needs grown up time too!

I lived without a cell phone, and computer for years...now I don't think I could live without my computer...everything I do is linked...school, banking, etc...the cell phone....some days I wish I didn't have one....tv...I lived without cable for a period of time...so yeah I could probably live without it...besides I can watch tv on the computer.

Everything but the cell phone. It is how I keep track of my kids, so I know that they are safe. Also, it keeps me in touch with my loved ones who live so very far away from me....everything else I could live without :-)

yes i could. than i would have more time to do the things i need to do. i do not have a cell phone,but i spend a lot of time on the Internet,and i keep the TV on for noise most of the time.

well when he joins me we might do that-
untill then i gotta hang onto the cell and pc
