started to do my washing and ten minutes in to the cycle the washing machine stopped and started to flash f 11 in the digital display box .what does f 11 mean please help

It is a fault, mine flashed f13 and was a thermistor, they are a good machine when working, but I have had 3 repairs in 7 months.

I hope it's just a one off and not too expensive to fix, although I wouldn't hold my breath if I were you.
I had a Hotpoint washer/dryer and it was nothing but trouble, got rid of it and invested in a Miele, 7 years later not one single trouble yet.

F11 is a heater fault either the thermistor or heater itself if your lucky, or could be a board fault.
