Today, Saturday, I want to give a birthday gift to my friend . We are now 43. We are California "girls", long blond hair (still) and I value our friendship over the years. Do you know of one or have one that is warm and caring or funny?

Try this, I just wrote it for your occasion. I call it
A Special Birthday Gift
It is a very special day,
It's for a friend so dear.
A day so different from the rest,
To be much filled with cheer.
Since we first met and became friends,
Back in our high school days.
I've come to think a lot of you,
In many different ways.
We sit and talk of many things,
Or maybe not at all.
We always have that special bond,
That won't let friendship fall.
From when we were just silly girls,
Of high school age or so.
You've been the best friend I could have,
So please, don't ever go.
When we grow old and wrinkles form,
And blond hair turns to gray.
Remember when I gave you this,
And said "Happy Birthday".
