I want to use Outlook in my desktop and laptop. But both must reflect the same information and the emails that are saved in either of them. I first configured the desktop outlook and now when I configured the emails on my laptop it does not show all the current emails which are saved on my outlook on the desktop. How can I view both at the same time which reflect the same information?

Thanks.

When configuring two different machines to check the same email accounts, you have to make one change.. In your account setup, under advanced options. Look for an option for "Leave Messages on Server". I usually have only 1 machine select the next option "Delete mail after x days" and have it set to about 10. I know I will check mail on each of my machines within 10 days so I do not miss any.

Another thing you can do to sync the 2 computers for past email is export the mail. from one machine and import it to the other. When importing, you have an option to "Do Not Import Duplicates" Just make sure you Export to a file and you will see a PST option. Personal Files.

If you need more info just ask, but I think you can figure the rest out.

You can't. It is like having two books open at once, just 'cos they're the same book doesn't mean they are connected or even open at the same page. Your best bet is to look at the configuration of your Outlooks and and tell only one to download from server and configure your other to "leave messages on server" Maybe download onto your laptop 'cos you can always import them into your desktop (I think).

When you use pop3 collection on one machine it removes all the emails from the server. You need to set Outlook to leave copies on the server for a time, do not leave them too long, or you will run out of email storage space.

In BOTH Ouloooks you need to do the following:

Click Tools > Accounts > highlight the account and click Properties > Advanced tab and select to "leave a copy of messages on server".

Keep in mind that the emails will stay on the server forever, so you will need to periodically delete them off the server to prevent it from building up. Of course you will want to do a send/receive on both machines prior to this.

One possibility may be to use MailWasher, enables you to view messages without downloading them. You could use it to delete messages you don't want (or even bounce them), leaving wanted messages untouched so that you can download and deal with them with Outlook.
