Considering this vote....

Do you think those voters consider Republican vote as an insult of the former USA Foundation ?

@ all :US 13 Hstorical States, of course !

@ disney_maniac_girl :CA is a democratic state, thanks to underline the socialist point of view of the biggest American State, only Governed by an ex european, austrian actor who choose republican etiquette but Who's very popular in Democrats Voters.

Otherwise 'd not have been elected under republican banner !

You are not aware of our Constitution and the admitting of additional states. This is only natural, being from a socialist cesspool.

Answering the first part of your question: no, it would not be fair. After the American Revolution (whose grievances by the way were about not being represented by the government who governed them) the young government formed the Northwest Ordiance which helped shape Ohio, Illinois, Michigan, etc. and it said that these states would have full and equal rights to join the Union and be represented.

This all being said, the United States is all about being represented and having a say in your government. So it would not be fair to only count the original New England colonies.

Also on this topic, no, I do not believe Republicans are 'insulting' the original ideaology of America--as it is part of that same ideaology for everyone to have their own opinion about life, politics, etc. no matter how different those views are.

There were Thirteen original states. They were not all in New England, or in the area that is known as New England. It would be irreesponsible and ridiculous to put all legislative power in the hands of a very small group within a small region, simply because this is the historical origin of the nation.

no other states count? (I bet you live in New England.) Sorry but those of us in the west matter. CA has more votes than several of the small NE states. WE MATTER!

Please stop being insulting, dude. Republican votes are not an insult. If they are, the socialist democratic vote are worse since they are trying to destroy America!

Oh yes, look at who Massachusetts has for their two senators and you have to ask a stupid question like that. I sure want them being the deciding factor for the US - NOT. They are not the only ones in the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. Can they support the rest of the US without us being a part of it. If they can, then you MIGHT, but probably not, have a point.

no way - while we have many socialist weirdos, CA does matter. The is the Unites States of America. All states are important. You are insulting to think that only the original 13 states matter.

It was 13, not 12!
