I've heard this stated a few times - what does it mean? And, what makes it charming?

I think the word is endearing. Lots of people enjoy mystery and blokes love a girl who blushes. I think it makes them feel powerful. That is what I think the attraction is.

Some men prefer shy / sweet women for their sexual partners ( find them charming ) .
This was taught repeatedly to the many wives of the polygamist men now on trial in Utah .
Shy / sweet enabled the men to gain control of many girls
( they start conditioning to remain that way as children ) ,
Then they would be more compliant as they built their harems and subsequently , use the new girl children for "marriage" also .
Shyness is nice , but also dangerous when used as a control tool by those pedophiles organized under the claim of religion .
