Now that the game of draughts - played on an 8 x 8 checker board - has been solved by computer, are there any plans to change the game with a 10 x 10 checker board?

I know that some european variants of the game have done so but what about english draughts?

Heard there is some move to go back to old pence with a 12 x 12 draught board in England.

That would be even more pointless than solving the game in the first place.

Draughts is only played because it is simple and quick. It has always been a flawed game anyway. Like tic-tac-toe it should end in a draw. Any idiot can crunch through lots of positions on a computer. What a complete waste of time solving it completely was.
