i have a zippo lighter but i took an old flint out to check it and I put it back in but it got stuck in the tube about half way down...how can i get it out (i've already tried banging the bottom against a hard surface, so dont say that please)

Stick some thing hard in there to knock it out. Maybe a strong piece of wire will do.

Place it in the freezer for about a half hour. When you remove it the contraction of the two cold metals and the condensation will allow you to pull it apart easily.

A paperclip straightened out will usually do the trick.
