50-50 is better than T20. all players get an oppurtunity to play

I absolutely love cricket, and Test is its purest form.

I think that twenty20 has been very good for bringing new viewers to the game, an example of which is my daughters, who will watch a twenty20 match but get bored with me watching a Test.

50 over ODI like yesterday's Sri Lanka v England game can be very exciting at the end, but not during the early stages to someone who isn't a cricket nut like me.

It's an unfair question.

Personally i don't like comparisons b/w the different formats of the game.
I think both T20 & F50 are good.

T20 is fast & you need to be on your toe to win while F50 requires a bit more patience.

T20 is better from the spectator's point of view.

Cheers!!!

they are not the same game, it's like comparing lawn green to tenpin bowling.
i actually like the 20-20 series because it gets good coverage on the telly/radio, which was the intention, the one day, 50 over games, don't really get much attention unless you don't mind staying up till four am and listening to long wave radio.

at least with a five day test it's actually worth staying up till silly o colck with a radio because the game will still be going on if you do nod off halfway through.

and the results actually count towards things like world rankings and not just one off trophies.

It all depends who you are and what you are looking for
Personally I prefer test cricket because I love the traditions of the game , and indeed in England virtually every available seat is sold in advance for test matches (and one dayers)
The 20 /20 has done a lot to bring new viewers to cricket and that is good , and necessary , but for me all that hype and noise is not what I want to sit through

50 50 is better, i hate 20 20 matches...
As nalakafairly mentioned, it is one of the worst thing ever happened in the cricket history.
20 20 is just an entertainment.

both are equally good, they both serve different types of interest, same as a test match, I like watching all types of cricket but some prefer 20-20 or a50/55 over game
