My advice would be:
Visit a financial planner NOW....set up a portfolio for your eventual retirement years and for your children's education.
Purchase a piece of property NOW. Real estate will build you a nice nestegg when done properly
Then I'd say - now go ahead and enjoy your 30's - the 40's get even better! lol

You know I can remember when I was about to turn 30, I hated it. I was told by so many people that is the age when you should start acting your "age" instead of being wild. Heck I never did act wild, I have always been tame, maybe too tame. Even the day and for some time after I turned 30, I was so depressed that it was not funny. Then I looked around at others that were 30 and over, they didn't act any different than they did before they turned 30. I guess that I was expecting them to act old or something, I don't know.
So I continued to act like I always did and enjoyed my kids to the hilt, knowing that one day that they would be leaving the "nest", and they did just that.
As far as time going faster as you get older, you bet it does. And if I was 30 again, what would I do? I would have left my ex sooner than I did. I don't even want to relive my 30's again.
I am really enjoying my life now. I not only take care of my parents, but work at the local school here as well.

When I turned 30, it was a great age to be. The older folks stop patting you on the head and the younger folks start looking up to you. It is a time when all the things in your life start to come together and make sense. It is unexplainable but you will feel it after a couple years into your 30s. Yes , time starts to fly and before you know it, you are 50 and looking back and saying, where did the time go? I still feel in my mind I am 30 but my body says otherwise. Just have as much fun as you can handle and scratch what ever itch you have because the saying is true that "life is too short" Take it from me. I am 53 going on 30.

All stages in life offer joys and difficulties, and they're all worth embracing. We have only one life to live, and the only real thing is the present moment. Since you can't affect the passage of time and you're going to age no matter what, I recommend that you enjoy this moment and then the next one and the next one after that, and so on for the rest of your life. Given the uncomfortable reality of growing older and not living forever, I can see no other way. Make the best decisions you can for right now, and seek support from people who love you and are on your side. You'll make mistakes as we all do, but you'll keep on going. Life is a process not a destinatation, so enjoy and have a Happy Birthday and be sure to eat lots of cake.

You are in your prime!!! The best is yet to come, Make every
day a positive, follow your bliss and take a valuable risk if it
comes your way, Save as much money as you can for retirement, As 50 comes up in a short time. I don't think life goes by any faster, The older you get the more you reliaze it
was always going by faster then you were aware of all a long.
Just live life to the fullist with true love. Blessings

I wouldn't mind being 30 again. My daughter was 12 and we lived near the beach in one of my favorite places.
My daughter is 32 now. I'll tell you the same thing I have always told her. " You will never be any younger than you are today, no matter what your age." If you want to do something, do it, don't wait. Many of the things I used to want to do, now have no appeal or I'm not able to do them. Time does seem to go faster as I age. Enjoy every day because you will turn around one day and wonder where they all went. Have a Happy Birthday on each of them!

When me and my friend turned 30 we got freind together and went out and called it "Our Dirty 30" I think 30 is nothing to be scared of if u are where u want to be in life our atleast heading that way. It is a good question I'll be looking at the answers.

I would stay at 29 if I could, I was depressed when I passed thirty but after that I didn't worry at all. Yes time does seem to speed up after thirty, Old Father time puts his foot on the accelerator and the years whizz by, you wake up one morning and realise you are over 70 and wonder where on earth it has all gone. Enjoy every minute." Out of Eternity the new day is born,
Into Eternity at night will return".

No, life doesn't 'speed' up. You just think it does, probably because you think you missed out on things 'others' did or are doing. Life is just life. You are here to learn, experience and enjoy it. Not to wonder why you missed something or why some one else did something you always wanted to do but didn't. Don't try to live a life that others are living, just live 'your' life as well as you can. Try to experience everything you can to the best of your ability and then you you will find not only your niche in life but your place in the Cosmos too. In my opinion.

Look into the mirror and appreciate your life, your strength, and how beautiful your body is at 30.
From someone who is twice that age now, I realize what a beautifully, strong and healthy body I had. I worked my body hard and enjoyed all the ability to do the things I wanted but and I wish now I'd had more fun with it along the way :O)))))
