LOL... I got a cheque in the mail a coupla weeks ago. I overpaid my phone bill by $9.67. They sent me a cheque. Really.
But seriously, I think my last reality check was the first week of school. I stopped colouring my hair in June... I wanted to see exactly how much gray I have (turns out... lots!!!). One of my students looks at me and says (as he rakes his fingers through my hair) "Miss Andrea was university really hard this summer? *gasps* Or... did we do that to you?!"
That's my reality. I am getting older, the signs are there. I am not certain I like it. But I've kept the gray hair! (Um... for now).
