Thats always assuming Bush will LEAVE the Oval Office when his term is up (if not sooner- everyone he ever appointed to a government job has left, how soon before Bush packs HIS bags in disgrace?).
This is exactly what scares Republicans about Hillary so much. They had no problems handing all that authority to a college cheerleader, but now it looks as though that power will be in the hands of (gasp) a WOMAN!
Who will bet me the Republicans do everything in their power before Hillary moves BACK into the White House to remove all the authority they gave the Bush-baby, thereby proving to the world, it isn't about good government in the US, it's about who gets to wield the power.
Republicans had that power and authority for 6 years and could have spent that time proving to the US and its liberal factions why it was a better choice to go with Republicans, instead, they spent that time writing dirty emails to underage boys and taking bribes from Enron and Halliburton, when they weren't taking away hard fought for and achieved rights and civil liberties from US citizens (I guess they felt that was more important than their "War on Terror").
In that 6 years of unprecedented power in Washington, did Republicans:
Fix Social Security?
Secure the borders?
Find the man who attacked the US on Sept 11, 2001?
Remove the Taliban from power in Afghanistan?
Stop abortion in the US?
Inspect the millions of cargo containers coming into this country everyday?
Solve the issue of high drug costs in the is country for seniors?
Solve the issue of high fuel proces in this country?
Stop the defection of millions of jobs to foreign countries?
Stop huge corporations from receiving completely unneeded taxpayer-funded government subsidies? All while homeowners in the US are losing their homes, due to shady mortgage practices?
Fail to explain to the US why they send hundreds of billions of dollars to Iraq while we have children in the US without 3 meals a day or health coverage. Just whose President ARE you, Mr. Bush
Consider any aid for Americans to be "Welfare", but have no problem promoting socialist programs in Iraq or giving that "Welfare" to multi-national corporations which have no need for it.
Failed to form an independent 9/1 Commission after the attacks, until overwhelming public support for an independent commission forced him to (the first of MANY "flip-flops"), then failed to provide that commission with the files it needed until forced to by Federal Court, and THEN refused to testify under Oath to that commission (so we as Americans will NEVER know how utterly Bush failed at protecting Americans in the months before Sept 11, 2001)
