No - it would take too long to communicate your motives and strategy to the people supporting you - so you couldn't get it done in a day! Then if you think of the number of places in the world who don't have the communication structures - they wouldn't know whether you had taken them over or not, until you fly there and tell them. You probably don't speak 100 odd languages so you wouldn't be able to tell them when you got there. I'd be less ambitious if I was you!!

I seriously doubt it, although if you had the right motives, strategies and brainwashing capabilities, you could reach many people and influence their opinions via the media. Newspapers, Internet and television. However, there are so many countries that do not have any of these mediums available to them, so you would have to reach them a different way.

Not only that, but as humans we are diverse. We are diverse in culture, attitudes, understanding, capabilities and possibly most importantly of all, we are diverse in Faith. Even within the same churches, temples, Mosques and synagogues, people have diverse opinions. It would therefore be hard to take over the world as changing someone's faith is not easily done. They have that faith for a reason, it is personal to them, and they wholeheartedly believe it to be true, so imposing your faith, will or power over them would be really difficult.

I mentioned Hitler above, because he seemed to not only have the motives and military capabilities, but he literally swayed the opinions of hundreds of thousands of people every time he spoke. He was a master at public speaking, not only in what he said and the way he said it, but the whole drama and organisation of his public speeches were more like a modern day rock gig. The use of strategic lighting and music and special effects drove people wild. However he did it, and believe me, I am not praising him or condoning his opinions, I find them horrific, however he did it, he convinced hundreds of thousands of people to hate and persecute anyone who was not "pure" or "Aryan". The jews, homosexuals and other groups were put to death by the thousand. Six million Jews were killed by the Nazis. The torture they heaped on people was horrendous. Somehow, he convinced normal, ordinary good citizens that this was all justifiable and in fact necessary for human survival. Presumably before he warped their minds, they would think such acts despicable. He also had a lot of military power and managed to invade countries such as France and Poland, no mean feat in itself. So no, I do not think it would be possible to take over the world in a day, or in fact ever.

The right motives would not include a war strategy and/or taking over the world, so no.
As they say, "the road to hell is paved with good intentions." When a system of government is setup that allows one ruler to govern over all the people in the world, then what happens if there's a coup d'etat?

You probably could have a little while ago but now you probably wouldn't be able to. it would be too hard to get the entire world to listen to you and i don't think anyone has that kind of power. is there a specific reason you are asking this question?

Scary even asking that question dont you think? Seen die hard 4 yet pshyco boy? only joking. I think you would just need a really big bomb or complete control of all media and oil etc. B and Q do a pack you can buy for this for about £18
