I am going to spend my Saturday heartbroken and with my family ... I lost my dad T. Last Tuesday. Guess I'm still in a state of shock and feel sort of numb. It happened so fast we are all still reeling in it. I just started to get a grip that he was starting to go downhill, but never did I think it would happen that fast. He was only 61 years old and I am going to miss him everyday for the rest of my life.
Of course, I normally spend my Saturdays with my handsome kid trying to catch up on life being a single mom and teacher (and also trying to do something fun with him each weekend on a limited budget.) For today however, I am going to think about memories of my dad and hang out with my stepmom and my brothers who I rarely get to see and just "be together" ... loving each other, laughing, crying, and remembering my hero.

How I LIKE to: Packing up a picnic, grabbing a good book, bottle of wine, fishing pole and a blanket and heading out to a lake or river for the day for sun, fun, and relaxation.
How I REALLY will spend my Saturday: Go visit grandma in a nursing home, do household chores and clean.
Perhaps I can shorten my To-Do list and do a little of what I want and some of what I need. Maybe some fun should be a priority.

I like to spend my Saturdays with my girlfriend and her son, preferably doing something outdoors. Today we had a nice breakfast that we all had a hand in preparing, plus some nice fresh-brewed coffee... then we read the paper while her son watched some taped TV shows from the week... it's raining here today, so we are going to go shopping, go out for a late lunch, and then come back and do some house chores... tonight I am making a chicken & rice dish, then Montreal is playing Toronto in NHL hockey, but I will also be flipping to the MLB Playoff games... to wind it up we will watch a DVD tonight.... nice and relaxing... it's a long weekend here... Canadian Thanksgiving, so Monday is head to the folks place for a big dinner with lots of relatives.

Well, most weekends, I spend my Friday out running around acting crazy, and my Saturday is my kick back and rest day, or the day I get stuff done around the house, but today, I'm supposed to go out to the country to go shooting. We are supposed to have a BBQ and unload a couple hundred rounds into some beer cans, and paper targets. However, it looks like the weather may ruin our plans. I have to be at work by 5am tomorrow so maybe it's just as well that I don't show up hungover and deaf.

I like to spend Sat morn reading the paper and drinking coffee. Then I watch the news and clean up the house, run a few errands, and cook dinner relax and do nothing the rest of the day. Take a long bath with candles burning and get ready for church the next day.
How I really spend it is sleep all day because I work 12h Fri night and hve to do another 12h Sat and Sun night.

Saturdays are for running around and getting some shopping ( other than groceries) done plus reading watch TV and talking to friends and family and that is how I plan on spending my Saturday with no work just fun and love.

On saturday i play tennis softball and i wish i could spend it surfing but im not very good or with, a friend at the movies or beach. Im spending this saturday with my aunt and my 2 2nd cousins!

I like to spend it on my motorcycle touring the countryside. Then in the afternoon I like to barbecue, pitch horse shoes, shoot pool, listen to music while getting drunk and visiting with friends and family.
However I will actually be going to get my dog at the vet. Then I have to go bid on doing a cabinet job for a customer and I may even go to work for a while. I still plan on getting drunk later though.

I'm going to Kings Island here in a couple of hours and I can't wait! If I wasn't going there then our town is having a Fall Festival today and I'd be there. : ) Saturday's are great!

I like to spend it exactly like I'm going to spend it, doing little projects around the house and relaxing after a hard week's work.
