It's very difficult on a car.

A pickup is a challenge even when you have a donor vehicle. Better off buying an 4X4 of the same model as your existing vehicle & rebuilding it with your 2 WD.

"Yeah :-($$$" Parts; Transfer case, short drive shaft, front drive axle, Adaptor for mounting transfer case to transmission, & mounting hardware for everything.

Installation time; 6 to 15 Dats if the shop is good and runs into no problems.

Like stated, Better off buying a 4X4!

Cheaper to buy a 4x4. Lots of expense and lots of work.
