Why is it that in the XXI st century when we are suppose to be civilize people we are still fighting wars? Why do we have to be involve in killing human beings rather than dialoging? Are we as primitive as we were centuries ago when it comes to our behavior?

It is sad, and I have no explanation for it... you would think by now we all realize that in order to succeed as a species we need to get along and work together, but apparently the need to dominate and be in control is stronger.

Yes all of us do not like war, neither do I, Business minded citizens will think fighting for a toy is silly, but if the leader you selected is a professional boxer/wrestler champion, he will try out the boxing/wrestling ring when he has free time and the right sponsors. They might not be primitive, because primitive people do not know how to sit down and talk in English or other languages in the modern day, Its good to talk for a change, because by talking misunderstanding is heard and small problems will be set off immediately in front of the public media

Civilized people fight wars because not every country or leader responds to rational and respectful dialogue, you know? If X-dictator is committing genocide against his own people, what are you going to do as a "civilized" person? Try to talk it out? Hey there, Mr. Dictator - you really need to have respect for human life! And what do you do when he kindly tells you to go to hell? Violence isn't intrinsically evil or bad - it's just a coercive way to get what you want. If you're a good person and you're trying to defend innocent people, then resorting to violence when necessary to save human lives isn't wrong.

You cannot dialogue with the devil...it sounds like a nice happy idea, but when someone is attacking you, asking them to be nice is a very naive idea, and I'm sure you are smarter than that.

Maybe you could tell us how to dialog w psychopaths? I mean how do you bargain w someone whose starting point is your death? Offer an arm or a hand instead? Maybe our next generation of children? There is no dialog with fanatics.
