There could be many reasons why it as stopped feeding.

1)If it’s a adult male the change in temperature may have knocked him in to it’s breeding season so he won’t feed for a couple of months

2)The heat pad should only be half the size of the base of the viv so the snake can come off the pad and go to the cool end of the viv if it’s too warm.

3)Winter is coming so it may be getting ready winter season. This all depends on the temperature of the viv.

4)Was the heat pad new if not had the pad come out of a viv with a male corn because the smell of an other male can knock them into there breeding season as well. Snakes don’t need to be wintered for the first year of breeding.

5)If they are ill the first thing they do is stop feeding.

With out more information it would be hard for any one to give you a good answer. Just keep trying it every week with food. If it seem ill take it to the vets.

Additional info

It’s only young so it wont have knocked in to its breeding cycle.

First thing what’s the temperature in the viv it should be around 82 to 84 F at around the centre of the viv with a warmer end at one side & a cool end at the other.

Dose he go on the heat mat where have u put the mat, what size is the mat & wattage. What size is the viv, what type of viv is it and what is it made from.. Also what was u using before u got the mat (have u stop using this)

The heat mat doesn’t give off heat like a normal heater. The snake will go on the mat and warm up that way.. The mat doesn’t raze the air temperature.

Offer food, as per the normal schedule. If the snake refuses the food, remove it from the vivarium after a half hour or so, wait a couple of days, and try again.

If the vivarium is small and the heat pad covers the entire area of it, you might have to reposition it or even remove it. A snake typically wants the vivarium to have both warm and cool areas. An area that is too warm all the time can actually cook the snake to death.

You can offer food as normal. You don't say how old he is. Weekly or every 10 day feedings when they've gotten past pinkies is perfectly acceptable. Adults every 10-14 unless they are preparing for brumation, coming out of brumation in preparation for breeding or they are gravid. We tend to overfeed our snakes in captivity so there's nothing wrong with not feeding exactly 1 week apart.

Feed the thing, they dont eat when they are about to shed so once they shed they are hungry and need to catch up.

you have to feed them on a routine, we feed our corn snakes about every 2 weeks with mice. it sounds like he has gone into a cooling off period where he might not eat for about 2 months its like hibernating. still try him every couple of weeks just with one mouse.
