when they're old enough to do the job and handle the responsibility... starting with chores around the house then maybe a paper route, lawn mowing, babysitting and then when legally old enough - a job in a fast food place, restaurant, store... whatever ... builds character, confidence and they learn more responsibility

my son got a job caddying the summer going into high school. He makes an insane amont of money for a kid - and by the time he was 17 - he bought a used Ford Explorer and has enough money for gas, insurance and junior college. He learned responsibility -

When i was 14. I want to buy my own mobile phone but since imy parents dont want to buy for me since it was not a neccesity in life.

so what i did, i apply a job in a fastfood as a cook and clean the dishes. It was a nice experience and after a few months i already got a brand new mobile.

Whenever they are responsible enough to jobs. Beginning ones starting out as lemonade stands, then yard/house/pool work, and then jobs like at the grocery store, gas station, mall, etc.

It depends on the city's policy on jobs, some have to have a license to work before 15 years old.
If you have someone that will drive you around, get one as soon as you can find someone that will hire you.

Well, prostitution IS illegal...
It's even more illegal if the prossy is under the consensual age for your state...
And it's not even worth it if they aren't old enough to do the job....
I say 11 or 12 at least.....
