I don't know if you are talking about a world where America never existed or one in which America no longer existed. I would think that you would like the second better, because we would already have electric lights, mass production of cars, telephones, and Hitler would have been defeated. In that case we would have been useful for awhile, and then conveniently gone.
As to child labor, that is still going on, as is slavery, and all of the other ills that have plagued us, they just don''t go on here.
I think that the world is a better place because of America, and because we hold ourselves and others to a higher standard, everyone in the world is better off and safer. There is no doubt that we have some work to do, but at least we are doing it, which is more than can be said for the rest of the world, who for the most part sits in the peanut gallery and complains.

Imagine moving to a different country yourself, there's nothing wrong with America. It's the rouge elements of the American government that create the problems.

1. Would you abolish the field called Economics? Economic science says your world will fail. Plus a simple supply and demand curve would confuse everyone. 2."Every single American would be treated the same under the government regardless of Gay, Straight, Black, White, Woman or Man"-So your against affirmative action?? PLA's?, you are for right to work? 3. Define insane? would not the govt not be allowed to have guns? in every country that has dreamt your dream, they disarmed the population then genocided them...USSR, China, etc. 4. "Our environment would flourish because we would care for our green space, air and animals as opposed to destroying all" lol wut more specific. 5. Current rail systems in the U.S. do not turn a profit(AMTRAK) how much will it cost to run a high speed rail that loses lots of money? 6. How will you pay for the training for doctors if it is free? 7." Religion won't blind people from facts and science"-I see you are intolerant cool. AGW is also a religion, there has not been statisticaly significant warming in 16 years. CO2 rises before temperature. 8..Without conservatives who would pay for all this???

The middle east would still be a dessert trying to scratch a living out of the dessert. England would still be ruled by the royalty or Germany or even France. The progress that was made in society was all due to those countries oppressive governments and either banishing those undesirables or forcing people to give up their homes and families to get away from the poverty and oppression, which allowed us to become the greatest country on earth. Freedom and capitalism created this great country.

Here goes, no massacre of Native Americans, no slavery for blacks, no oppression of many of its own people, let's not forget why child labor laws were passed, the greedy of our capitalist society even abused our children as long as they could. No millions of Americans struggling just to exist all the while being bombarded with commercials telling them how nice life is...if they have money. A corrupt out of control government, and it's both parties. No occupation of Iraq, no reason for those in the middle east to hate us. With that said, where would the world be today if it were not for America during the Second World War? Even then, the military was segregated for most of the war. We truly are a nation of double standards.

There would be far less corruption and wars in the world.
America is only around 250 years old. Your language, legal system , original people are all from the United Kingdom.
The world run fine long before you were conceived and will if you disappeared.
Although, It would be a shame if Disney went. For the children.

Paradise for Democrats, but don't worry, they are working on it so some of us will get to see it first hand.

I think that Hope's "Fantastic" statement is proof enough.

One good thing, no Internet (whether you believe Al Gore or DARPA invented it), since it is a U.S. creation.
