Nearly got knocked over a bus when I was 7. I was pulled out of the way by my Dad.
I'd say that was the luckiest, because if I'd got run over then I'd have never lived to have seen all the other lucky things that have happened in my life

Had a crash on a busy motorway in the rush hours....brakes locked at 60mph....and I spun through 3 lanes of traffic without hitting another car skidded across a slip road through a fence and hit a large cable drum in the field which sliced the driver door open and threw me out the passenger side..the car was a write off..no wheels and sliced open like a sardine can by a fence post..petrol everywhere...I had a scratch on my head and ruined a good suit climbing out into the mud.....luckiest thing though...I'd left my cigarettes in the office..!!!!

when i changed my mind about going on a day trip to Belgium on the Herold of Free Enterprise. I shudder whenever someone talks about it. so many people lost their lives that day. Something told me not to send off for the tickets.

The day I met my partner - why was it lucky, well I was in a place I would not normally have been and he was on his way somewhere else. 15minutes either way and we would never have met. Eight years later I still call that lucky.
