I myself do NOT believe that being gay or lesbian is a choice. I myself think and believe that if you are gay or lesbian this is something you are born with. NO, I am not saying it is wrong by any means. I mean exactly what I have said. You are born gay or lesbian. OR you are not. I am not gay but I have several friends who are gay as well as several friends who are lesbian. I also have a nephew who is gay. He is open about it and is welcome at my home any time he wants. But seeing him grow up I also felt then as I do now that he was/IS gay. Growing up he would do anything that girls would do or did. UNLIKE boys in general where they climb trees or fight or wrestlle, or play with tonka toys. He would NOT do any of those things. BUT if it were girly he would do it. So I say you are born this way or you are NOT.

Well when I was 12 I officially realized that i was lesbian. and its not like i could just say to myself "No thank you."
I knew I liked girls and there was nothing I could do about it. looking back i think i was born gay, but growing up i didnt know what gay was. It is such a relief knowing a part of who you are. Also, I think a woman can unexpectadly become gay as an adult. if a woman was in, say, an abusive relationship with a man, and suddenly fell in love with a woman, then in that case she "became" gay.
But really its all about who you fall in love with :)

Try to "choose" it. As a straight girl, I don't think it would be possible for me to make such a "choice"; I'm attracted to guys. The only choice we make regarding our sexual orientation is the choice to be open about it rather than repressing it and hiding it from ourselves and others.

"In Genesis the 19th chapter, God destroyed Sodom and Gamoriah because of this type of behavior between men and women."
I emailed this passage to you, in case you don't read this, but: "The two angels came to Sodom in the evening, and Lot was sitting in the gate of Sodom. When Lot saw them, he rose to meet them and bowed himself with his face to the earth 2 and said, “My lords, please turn aside to your servant's house and spend the night and wash your feet. Then you may rise up early and go on your way.” They said, “No; we will spend the night in the town square.”"
"But before they lay down, the men of the city, the men of Sodom, both young and old, all the people to the last man, surrounded the house. 5 And they called to Lot, “Where are the men who came to you tonight? Bring them out to us, that we may know them.” 6 Lot went out to the men at the entrance, shut the door after him, 7 and said, “I beg you, my brothers, do not act so wickedly. 8 Behold, I have two daughters who have not known any man. Let me bring them out to you, and do to them as you please. Only do nothing to these men, for they have come under the shelter of my roof.” 9 But they said, “Stand back!” And they said, “This fellow came to sojourn, and he has become the judge! Now we will deal worse with you than with them.” Then they pressed hard against the man Lot, and drew near to break the door down. 10 But the men reached out their hands and brought Lot into the house with them and shut the door. 11 And they struck with blindness the men who were at the entrance of the house, both small and great, so that they wore themselves out groping for the door."

The people were punished for being inhospitable, for being corrupt, and for attacking Lot when he sheltered the angels.

Seriously... can you believe anything in the media...? It's not a choice. Your sexual orientation is not a choice.

I am 38 years old and it was going on with girls (bisexuality) when i was a teen but discreetly. Now i see it in the open . i see nothing wrong with it in women. In men i think it is sick but to each there own.

In Genesis the 19th chapter, God destroyed Sodom and Gamoriah because of this type of behavior between men and women.

God punishes because of sin.

If being gay is not a choice, then God is a murder.

The media is right!!!!

Wow 8 against. That is a new record for me.

People hate the truth I guess.
