You could try what we ( my office mates and me ) did some Christmas Ago and would now do this Christmas. Every Christmas , we have office Christmas parties , lots of food , gifts and merrymaking . Then we decided for that Christmas we are going to give and share our Christmas to the less fortunate , the first Christmas we identified poor but deserving family ( those who are hardworking but could not just pull thru well ) in each neighborhood of our staff , we identified 7 families . We spend our Christmas office party allocation in putting together Christmas Basket , containing Fried Chicken , Fruit Salad mix , spaghetti , dolls , Tshirt for the boys and Father , dresses for the mothers and girls . then wrap it in glistening colored cellophane . Everytime we approach the house , we sing Christmas Songs with dancing and they would always ask apology for they have no money to give us for the carolling . Then we tell them we are sharing Christmas with them , then everytime we give out the gifts for them , they would cry in happiness and thank us profusely . These are the best feeling anyone could have , knowing that you made someone you don't know a little happier in that Christmas eve. We tried it many times more abd the feeling never changes . Best Christmas ever ... Sharing Chirstmas

I'd like to have a Christmas knowing that everyone else is also eating, being warm, spending time with loved ones etc, instead of being out on the streets or alone, with no dinner or roof over their head, let alone any presents.

That I can find the time/$ to be able to fly up to see my special friend (a REAL MAN ...who is kind, gentle, caring and loving) ... and we BECOME we ... (that is to say .. make plans to permanently be a couple). That my HOME sells, I find a comfortable new HOME near him, and we settle in for the rest of our lives.

I'm with E Scrooge on the matter of xmas. The best therefore would be for it to be cancelled.
