No, I don't have any relatives like that. My husband has a jerky brother and sister-in-law but not the same as what you described. Wow, you were just being nice and showing some holiday spirit and it blew up in your face! I feel sorry for you because you were just trying to make your wife happy and instead your whole household is miserable. I hope your wife at least thanked you for your good intentions and puts the blame where it belongs - on her siblings and their whiny, self-centered behavior. Your wife needs to take a firm stand with them. Either this stops immediately (it probably won't) or she can't be there for them. They need to take control of their lives and fix their own problems, and it doesn't sound like they want to. Do NOT invite them for Christmas! They've taken enough. They're the "grinches", not you.

I have a yard but would prefer an inch and walk many a mile to aim for it.

i work in inchs so that were i like to be but sometime a mile is good.

i wouldn't know how far a yard was so would probably end up nearer a metre
