I was offered this job after I had registered with Timesjobs.com.

As Philip had said that as long as the company does'nt ask for money to get the visa formalities completed, the offer seems to be genuine.But as I've received an email from the company with the visa form to send them some 630 pounds for the formalities, the fear expressed by Philp seem to be true, I'd like to know if it is safe to proceed.

It all looks real. But, no proper recruitment company will;
offer you a job with out an interview
want payment for work permits
want payment for a visa
charge you an administration fee
charge you for anything
ask for your bank details

So long as Timesjobs does not do any of the above, you should be all right.
