I usually vote very conservative, but not if they are holy rollers on some Christian crusade. That always ends being a disaster for the country.

An Atheist, like a non-secular voter, should vote for the candidate who speaks to their issues, who they agree with in terms of policy, and who they think will make America a better place.

Right now I've only reached the "anyone but Hillary, oh dear god anyone but Hillary" stage. I haven't decided who I'm voting for yet, but right now it looks like Romney vs. Giuliani vs. Obama.

I was impressed when Fred Thompson said he does not go to church on a regular basis.
Religion should play absolutely no role in American Politics.

Voting for a politician solely because of his or her religious affiliation is extremely irresponsible.
