Grammar is important because it makes it easier to understand what the person is asking.

For example, it is harder to read your post than others because of the grammatical mistakes, so I just chose not to read all of it (which may be bad for someone who really needs to explain their question). Honestly, is it easier to read this (The dog ate my homework.) or this (Da dawg.. eat mi hw)?

Also, a person generally comes off as smarter.

Personally, I understand that some on here are still trying to learn English (mainly as a second language), so I do not "pick-on" any grammatical errors.

I hope that this answer helps you understand!

I have regularly felt like spelling and grammer are so over rated. Yes, the suggestion of grammer and spelling is well and to a particular measure, it is helping us recognize what the F is bein stated however is it SUCH a gigantic bloody deal if it doesnt ALWAYS comply with the equal designated laws? Maybe I consider like spelling the phrase "doing", like "doin". Is that so unhealthy? does it no longer create an inventive, character, spin to your writting? for those who wish to spell and write the best way YOU wish, you must be in a position to, its as much as every body else in the event that they wish to learn it or no longer.

Oh you are so wrong, wrong, wrong. But I can see that you would not be able to grasp an explanation of its importance, so I won't bother to try. You just go on your own merry way being the semi-literate dunce that you are.
Cheers.
