Most successful writers indulge their ego at some point by placing themselves in their own creations. There are two dangers; the first will be your personality and ways of thinking will be laid bare for all to see and analyse (writing exposes you enough already). The other will be if your persona is then evident in other characters in your novel/body of work. It's considered lazy and poor form if your work seems like its full of clones–a very easy trap to fall into.

Negative- I have an extremely short temper and i have a big fear of failing anything! even the simplest of things!
