No-one has ever ruled the world - just parts of it. Many Egyptians were black - and they were at one time very powerful. As you say, the African slave trade was largely run by black people, it was a massive industry (although it is now fashionable to to codemn this and blame it on the largely white buyers).

No but they ruled their OWN peaceful little "world". As we all know, Africa was a very lush/fruitful country w/ kings and queens until they were thrown into slavery, killed, robbed naked, and forced to live a life that was not their own. End of story.

To my knowledge blacks have never "ruled" the world. Yes, they have had a few countries flourish a bit, but that was after the introduction of other cultures to them. So, they have never succeeded on their own.
