Oh yes. No need to go as far as Burma!
Police? I dont think they are actual police , but we are being watched!
I have no doubt about that at all!

The Burma marches, no. But there are certain types of demonstrations that merit police attention and I'm quite sure that in some cases these marches are filmed and the activists or leaders details will be put into an intelligence file somewhere for future reference.
Some of the IRA marches in mainland Britain would have been classic examples, or extreme animal rights marches to try and identify the activists who were responsible for attacking labs. I think in US there are also many anti-abortion demonstrations and as there have also been attacks on doctors or clinics who provide abortions then I'm quite sure these demonstrations will have been monitored too.
If you are a normal law abiding citizen and want to attend a demonstration or march then you have nothing to worry about. It's only when your actions become unlawful that you start worrying.

Large demos have always been watched closely by the security services, going back all the way to Aldermaston in the 60s and beyond. They can't exactly put you in a database as they don't know who you are, but you will be observed.
For the Burma march, you are more likely to be watched by the Burmese spooks than the British.

track everyone else who? everyone else not partaking or what? What has Burma got to do with UK or Ireland protests?
We're civilised here thank you, we don't have soldiers shooting us for shouting at Gordon Brown, outside the HoP.

Don't be silly, the Police have better things to do with their time, such as operate mobile speed cameras.
