Science cannot be stopped except by dictatorial laws. It is not that knowledge SHOULD be grown, it grows naturally as the mind develops from childhood into adulthood and never stops until death. What reason could there be for stopping only science? Why not stop math? Medicine? Music? Knowledge of nutrition? Should we stop looking at pictures from the Hubble Telescope? Should we stop our children from learning anything that would "grow" their knowledge? Why pick science?

There's a major flaw in your sentence. "growing our knowledge (scientific)?".You think we're only growing in scientifical knowledge? You're not being very accurate. The scientifical knowledge is merely a product of our growth as human beings. We know that there are needs that need to be met and that's what leads us to turn to science and develop it. Science is a way of carrying out a project and an ideal that's already inside us - whether it is good or bad. That's why there isn't bad science or good science - there are good people and bad people.

Knowledge should definitely be grown and nurtured. Knowledge is the key to power and freedom. The pursuit of Knowledge is the only permanent happiness and the joy of understanding.
Great question. Have a great day!

It depends on different people. Some feel that intellectual enhancement is nonsense. But for most people like me, learning NEVER stops. Life itself teaches you different experiences from the most serious to the most trivial of situations. Knowledge isn't just confined with the academics as we commonly know it, there are various types of information out there that could catch your fancy. Whatever field that you are interested in or you're just living your life taking everything as it comes, there will always be an opportunity for us to learn from. Because whether we like to accept it or not, learning never really stops.

Knowledge is infinite, therefore would take an infinite amount of time(or a state of Godliness) to acheive.
Those that end their pursuit of knowledge are on a road to nowhere.

definitely it should be grown and grown. scientifil knowledge of any age can be wrongly used, it can be wrongly used today and it in the future, so i donoit see why it should be stopped.
