When you connect to a router, wireless or otherwise, your machine is supplied with an IP address from the routers pool of addresses. If the pool is used up, no address is supplied, and you have "limited or no connectivity".

Make sure your connection is set to get IP address automatically. Start, network connections, show all connections, rt click wireless network, properties, scroll down to TCP/IP, click to select, properties, obtain IP address automatically.

When an address is supplied it is reserved for a "lease period" which is part of the router setup. This could be for an hour, week, month. During this lease period that address will only be supplied to the computer that leased it, so if your router has a pool of 10 addresses and 10 different machines have connected during the lease period, then when you try to connect there are no addresses left. If your wireless connection is unsecured then your neighbours could be using your addresses.

Turning your router off, waiting awhile then turning it back on will clear all the existing leases and you should be able to connect. Make your connection secure, the manual should help or ask a friend to help.

Probably interference. Is there a 2.4 phone nearby? Try changing the wireless channel to 11 to see if it doesn't help.
