Yes, basically I still do. Although George Bernard Shaw wrote : The Road to Hell is paved with good intentions.
I guess he meant that no matter how much we try to help, things can easily go awry, because of our differences!

Well honey, intentions comes from emotions too. Everyone's born with good intentions, but its the circumstances like changes in our social life and life-style that causes intentions to go astray though. To me, good/bad intentions comes within oneself. One have to be in control so as to prevent any ill-intentions to temper one's life though.
Cheers and have a nice week ahead :)

I think people have good intentions when they are young, but as they get older they become more selfish. I think this is mostly from being abused by other people over the years.

Yes. I also think people do the best they can at any one given time. It may not seem like it from the outside looking in but over the years I've learned this to be the case most often.

Deep down at heart people are good, but; their intentions are selfish.
I see that more and more in people these days.

No. I think generally people are just out to get whatever they want without regard to who they might hurt in the process.

Simply put, no. If left to ourselves, we humans have more than proven that we lean toward hurting others, and eventually ourselves. We're pretty self-destructive, actually. Not that we never do good things, but it is far from the norm.
May God bless you.
