Question A is actually 3/8 times 40 . so the sum would be 3 over 8 times 40 over 1 which is 120 over 8 which is 15 over 1 . there fore the stack of mats would be 15Cm's tall.
Question B is 24 divided by 3/8 . Reverse the 3 over 8 to 8 over 3 as we are now dividing times the 24 over 1 This is 192 over 3 which is 64.. so you could get 64 mats of 3/8cm in a 24cm. box.
