Barry Bonds has already been busted for steroids in the court of public opinion. If it becomes official, I don't think it will get much worse for him than it already is. I mean, his 756 homerun ball is being donated to the Hall of Fame with an asterisk on it! And even if he does get busted, his records will still stand, just like McGuire's. The only thing thing that could really hurt Bonds if it becomes official is his chance of induction into the Hall of Fame.

I am so tired of the Barry Bonds and steroid issue. People act like he is the only player to ever supposedly use steroids. Not to mention, after several tests each year, he passes with nothing in his system. The HOF should do the right thing and send the ball right back to the idiot that sent it to them. If he comes out and says he used them, that is fine, i will be with everyone esle that says the record is tarnished. Until then no one has any proof that he used steroids. I can come out and say anyone uses them because my career went south like Canseco's did. This is America...isnt it supposed to be innocent til proven guilty, not the other way around?

Barry Bonds will never admit he knowingly took steroids, especially now that he has the celebrated title of home run champion. Ball players who are not media friendly tend to become reclusive after retirement (Joe D., Mark McGwire) and Barry will too.

Jones adamantly stated for years she by no ability, ever took steroids. She in basic terms made that pathetic speech while dealing with down severe penal complex time and economic destroy. She is a splash bit rubbish who cheated others from being recognized for national and worldwide awards while she gained and located in events the place she grow to be under pressure up on the juice. Bonds is purely a reprehensible person no count the quantity of sparkling and cream that rolled by using his veins. yet like each and all the BALCO consumers, his time of residing the lie is approximately to chime night.

I think it's a pretty good move on her part. Barry tries to deflect any questions regarding his ALLEGED steroid use. Marion Jones has taken the initiative of admitting steroid use before the so-called "court of public opinion" starts releasing a flurry of accusations. I think this will translate into less overall net damage to her image.
typical public response : "She admitted...she was honest...she regrets it...she learned her lesson...it's at least better than Barry."

Well first I think she admitted to using steroids. Everyone knew she was taking them but she kept it on the down low when her husband got in trouble. i think when Bonds is not going to admit to using steroids because he wants to get the hall of fame. but he might after he makes it.

I don't know but I do think that it might become harder for him to find a team to play with next year since the Giants are not going to re-sign him as of what I heard a few days ago because of this issue.
