This can be a common occurrence shortly after birth of a baby - particularly the first baby. Both partners should make an effort to remain intimate in this new phase of life. Roles change a bit as you move from partners to parents, but your love for each other should remain.

Kids change things - no doubt! But they are a wonderful addition to life.

Maybe he's worried about providing for the family in the future and is stressed? Which is what he said. Why are you trying to read more into it than what he said. Listen to him. Let him know you love him and trust him and believe in him. Don't go looking for trouble that's not there.

My opinion is if neither of you have had the commitment to get married than you aren't committed enough. Simple as that. You can't expect to keep up this romantic notion can you. This is coming from someone who is happily married for 13 years, goes to bed fully dressed, and has four kids.

He's probably stressed like he said and probably less attracted to you sexually. You've gone from role of sex partner, to mother of his child and mother is not a sexy role. You may have gained weight too. Give it time.
