No, Palestinians have never lost their nation. what they lost was their country and its State -- Palestine-- when the UN implanted Israel on their land.

A nation is, to be politically correct, a collection of people sharing the same culture. A State is a certain political entity with its own sovereign government exercising power over a certain territory. Hence, the UN is actually a misnomer because it is an association of States and not nations.

Palestinians never lost their identity as a nation. Hence, there is nothing to prove within the context of the question. What the Palestinians, lead by the PLO has been fighting for the return of their land, country ans State.
