Shop owner offer me same price for this two graphic card, but I cant decide which to buy since I dont know clock speed or memory more important, can some graphic card's expert help me out please? Thanks alot!

GeForce FX 5500 (256mb, 350mhz)

or

ATI Radeon X 1050 (128mb, 400mhz)

Both are budget cards that are outdated and slow. I believe you have an AGP slot. Better consider at least the Geforce 7300GS AGP. The 7300GT AGP is a faster option.

WATCH OUT: the cards you mentioned need (very probably) different slots!!!! geforce 5500 needs AGP and radeon x 1050 needs PCI Express. So it depends on the graphic slot of your mainboard.
In case I'm wrong and the 2 do need the same slot, take the radeon, it was built with a better ram-type

clock speed is more important.
People point to memory like its all that but a lot of video cards can't keep up with their memory anyway so it goes to waste.
i heard what you really want to look at is bit pathways or something like that though
