I'm a blood donator for years and I support your suggestion. I can assure everybody that it's not painful, it doen't take time, it doesn't hurt our health, so I should encourage everybody who doesn't have health problems to donate and save the life of others, just keeping in mind that everyone or everyone's family can be found in a difficult life or health situation.

Thanks for reminding people about a life saving yet a very simple donation.
I can't donate blood because of a special condition of mine but I donated my organs long time ago.
People should also consider organ donation since there are a lot of people out there suffering with failed kidneys, hearts and livers and there is no point to take those organs with us under the soil when we die but give somebody his life back with them.
I can't imagine a bigger gift than that :)

That is such a good idea. I've actually been thinking of doing this for a while now, and haven't gotten around to doing it. I've been so busy with a new baby.
We lost my dad to lung cancer last year, but before he died, he had to get lots and lots of blood transfusions. I was thankful then, and always will be, to the people that donated blood.

I donated blood a couple years ago. It was so terrifying. I'm the worst when it comes to blood. I was holding my breath the entire time. I'd have to consider wisely if I ever wanted to do it again.

You can donate blood(300cc) once in 90 days only. also we must start following God's preachings. that is become vegetarians and remember Him always.

I would, Kicky, and this is a great initiative, but I am afraid no one wants my blood, my hemoglobin is too low... They don't want to make someone anemic with it, lol.
