Exammine her body?

If you are a trained professional then yes, you can usually tell if a women has had a baby upon exammination, it's pretty easy, but a lay person generally would not be able to tell for sure. Except of she has a c-section scar! That would make it obvious.

As for an abortion, that's pretty difficult. A full internal exammination by a doctor might reveal something, but maybe not. Again, a lay person would have no clue.

What's the big deal? Here's how to find out: just ask her.

That's private dr/patient priviledge. Ask her and if she doesn't answer you--maybe it's not your business (if this happened before you came along, if so, maybe after a while together, she will trust you enough to tell you). What's the big deal with this issue? Is this your woman and you think she deleted your child? Is she a new woman to you with past relationships, (like you haven't had any yourself). Need more personal info to answer, but that's up to you. Not very likely you will find many virgins as young as people sleep together nowadays, let alone finding a female who's never had kids or abortion in their past. And no you can't tell by looking--it takes a doctor.

Q | Will a Doctor be able to tell I had an abortion?
It is unlikely that a doctor can tell you had an abortion after your cervix has healed, at about 3 weeks after your procedure.

Unless a woman tells it no one will know. I believe that they can tell if you have delivered a baby though.

The only way for someone to determine if a woman has previously had an abortion would be to have a doctor examine her uterine wall for surgical scars left during the procedure. You would be unable to tell from the outside, and without the proper medical training (and permission) it would be difficult and unwise to try looking for them inside.

I'm not sure why you're interested in finding out, but depending on your situation, it may be more feasible to look for papers that documented the procedure (Medical records, insurance records) though she may have destroyed these if she is trying to hide an abortion.

I'm pretty sure a Dr would know if a woman had a baby before. He could tell through an examination. Her uterus would be different and there are possibly other signs. I'm not really sure. I'm not a Dr.

No there is no way to find out if a woman had an abortion or delivered before..... You just have to take her word for it.

There is no way to know for sure if a woman has had an abortion or birthed a child. The best way is to ask....and if you dont trust her enough to tell the truth, you probably shouldnt be with her.

there are no signs of abortion. It is too early and like miscarriage is usually just a DNC ( internal scraping) and not noticeable. You would be much better just to ask her at the right moment if she felt like sharing that information. If she feels non threatened she may tell all.

There is no way you could tell. Only a doctor *might* be able to tell if they did an internal exam and found scarring of the cervix.

You should just ask her. If you don't trust her answer, then you need to think about if this is the right relationship for you.

Good luck.

Only a Dr can tell for sure, the cervix doesn't completely close after delivering a baby.

Ask her... It's up to her whether she trusts you enough to be honest.
