Can anyone tell me, in chronological order, what group the general area of Palestine?

Philistines, Israel, Rome (which named it Palestine to insult the Jews), then mostly barren except for a few Arabs, Jews & Bedouin Arabs. All of Palestine was ruled by England until Israel became a nation again. Which I might add they were only given a portion of what they were promised for one Jew's salvation of England during the war and the rest went to the Arabs. They had mostly lived in peace until the Grand Mufti made a financial pact with Hitler. A dear friend of mine who recently died had a mother who taught both Jewish & Arab children in the early 1900s because there were no schools for poor arabs, especially girls.

Before the surrounding Arab countries attacked again they warned remaining Arabs to flee & when they won they would be rewarded with their homes & more. Israel offered them the chance to stay & live in peace. Most refused. The Arabs didn't win. Thus you have Palestinian refugees

Much of the land was bought at exhorbint prices before it was even a nation. Since Arabs faced death for selling land to the Jews most land owners took the money & got out. Leaving only the poor & disenfranchised.

Before Israel there was no clean running water for that area. All land currently acquired past the 1948 border were done so by fighting defensive wars. When Jerusalem was won the Wafti Arabs were made caretakers of the temple mount as a token of peace. The wafti closed it off to all but Arabs.

This isn't to say Israel is perfect. No nation is. But when you're literally fighting your next door neighbor for survival difficult decisions must be made. Arafat broke every peace he made. Even still the concessions Israel has made have only been met with demand for more. Al-Zwakari (sp?) was one of those released from an Israeli prison for peace. I can't help but wonder how many others Israel was made to release for peace that are now terrorizing the rest of the world.

Read www.debka.com & get the truth. Many of the Palestinian terrorists are educated & have money. Doesn't anyone find it strange they'll give money to the poor families of the suicide bombers yet do little to alleviate the suffering of the others despite their oil wealth?

Before 1948 everyone that lived in Israel was a Palestinian no matter their race. Same goes for several Arab countries surrounding it.
