I'll be 16 weeks this Friday.. and still no showing.
This is my first and before getting pregnant I was 230
BUT, I have a large build (frame) and am 5'10"
The dr said I was maybe only 20 pounds over weight..
When do YOU think people will be able not notice?

USUALLY [but not always-everyone's different] people can start telling between 20 and 26 weeks, and if you're slightly overweight you may be on the later end of that spectrum.

That being said, feeling ugly and fat during pregnancy is also the case for most women, regardless of how skinny they actually are. I weighed less when I DELIVERED my son than when I CONCIEVED my daughter and when I delivered my son I thought that I was the biggest fatty in the whole fatty farm. Hormones make you crazy and mess with body image, which for most women isn't exactly healthy to begin with.

Try to remember that there is a WHOLE HUMAN BEING in your belly, and that looking a little lumpy is totally acceptable when carting around a person next to your bladder. Not to mention that it is totally worth it in the end. Good luck and I hope you start feeling a little better about yourself!

not sure of your question is....do you want people to notice or not notice?

Being pregnant is the most beautiful form a woman can be in.
Go ahead and realax those stomach muscles and put on a maturnity top. Watch yourself grow.

You will be beautuful

And now a days 20 lbs over weight isn't much now a days.

Eat well and your baby will be healthy

I am overweight too. And i'm 5 mths this Sunday. People will notice just give it time. Not everyone gets a belly right away especially if it is your first one. I finally started to show and I can't wait for my belly button to pop lol I know that's weird.

usually don't show till pass 20 weeks. i was overweight too and i haven't gained that much weight. i was 5'4 around 180 and now i'm around 190ish (at 35 weeks) Every baby (and mother) is different so weight is always different. If your doctor says you're gaining weight ok I wouldn't be worried about it.

the best thing you can do is take your prenatal vitamins and eat healthy.

Sometime around 20-25 weeks, more than likely.

im 5'9 and before i got pregnant i was maybe at the most 240 and im "supposed to weigh" 130 .. but anyways, im 24 weeks and not really showing at all .. maybe just alittle bit. but you have to feel good about your body before anyone else will accept it. i was always brought up with the motto, "if you dont think your beautiful no one else will either" it works, really.
