I like to wear silky night slips that are spagetti strap and about the length on ones fingertips above the knee. is that to prevocitive or inapporpriate when there are other people staying in the room i cant stand wearing heavy and alot of clothes when i sleep? the people we are staying with are a male and female from my husbands band and we good freinds with them. Its a lame question but would this be appropriate sleep ware?

I know what you mean...less the better for sleeping. BUT when with others I wear shorts and t shirt.

Ask your husband if he is comfortable with you wearing it around the other couple. Maybe get some silky shorts to go with the slip to make it a little more covered up, but not too restrcitive. You may also want to keep a robe near the bed so you don't walk around in the slip too much.

We got married at a camping event, so we did spend the nights before and after the wedding on army cots in a tent, but that was expected. We had 4 people stay with us at the house for a couple of weeks before and after the wedding (my dad and my husband's brother and parents), it was crowded but fun. My mom couldn't make it for visa reasons, but my dad was able to come, and I was thrilled. We knew it was going to be crazy right around the time of the wedding, so we took our "honeymoon" trip about a month before we got married (it was a Caribbean cruise). This way, when we were done with the wedding and the house guests left, we could just relax and not have to worry about anything else. It all worked out.

You can get a light robe to wear with it if you're uncomfortable wearing the night slip around them, and after you get in bed, you can slip off the robe. That should handle the problem.

I think that it would be ok if it were only you and your husband, but you might want to wear a loosing fitting nightgown.Because there might be a chance that you would make the other couple staying with you uncomfortable.

Wear a t-shirt over it when you are in company and then remove the t-shirt when you go to sleep.
